Citrine
Citrine is the yellow or golden yellow variety of quartz. The yellow coloration, due to the presence of iron, is also responsible for the name, derived from the word citrus. Natural Citrine is usually a pale yellow, but extremely rare and less common that Amethyst or Smoky Quartz. Most Citrine is actually heat-treated Amethyst. Citrine is believed to be a powerful cleanser and re-generator. Carrying the power of the sun, Citrine is an exceedingly beneficial stone. It is warming, energizing, and highly creative.
